That DL opens @ 8am the week I'll be there (March 26-30).

YAY!!!!!

First seating was 7:10 and that is just a tad early for my son and I so I went with 7:30 instead. Not a whole lot better but factoring in walking etc it will be. Hmmm maybe we'll take ART that morning, does it go that early?

ART starts running an hour before park opening on regular days, and an hour and 40 minutes before general park opening on MM days. Here's their schedule for this week so you can see: http://www.rideart.org/schedules/

For example, on Saturday, the park opens at 8:00 for everyone, but at 7:00 for MM, so ART starts running at 6:20.

Thank you.

I see schedules posted for routes15/a but not route 7 which includes Hojo.

Hmmmm.

If busses start at 7am do you think it will get to Hojo in time to get us to DL and us get to Plaza Inn or would we have better luck just walking?

edited: I realized now that we are doing this on a Thursday so MM will be in effect so there hsouldn't be a problem if busses start around 6am.

From the Hojo just walk. It's not too far.

If you take that 7:10 reservation you will get 20 more minutes in the park. Leave Hojo at about 6:45-50.

It will probably be faster to walk than to take ART. My mom took ART one trip (fibromyalgia and hip/knee problems; so bad she had to get an ECV our most recent trip). It would take her 30-45 minutes from when she started waiting to actually get to the parks. You can almost certainly walk to the parks quicker.

If it's an endurance issue, that's different, but if you can walk through the parks all day without terrible difficulty, you can probably walk to Hojo. (If you're healthy you could even start walking now to prepare. :) )
