What do you think of Whispering Canyon at WL?

I posted this on the dining plan page and I meant to post it here.....

We ate here when GD was 5 and she had a good time with the stick ponies food was good thinking about doing this again in Dec.

My kids absolutely love this restaurant. The food is pretty good too. Make sure you order something with Ketchup.

We all had fun and thought the food was great! Don't miss out on the pulled pork(if you get the Canyon Skillet). It's usually in a pile next to the chicken, but I over looked it and only got a few bites since I was so full. They give you a little cup of BBQ sauce to pour on it. The mini corn on the cobs are good, too!

We found it to be a lot of fun. However, I found the skillet to be average. But hey, it is a bbq so it's not like it was a fillet mignon.

We love this restaurant and eat here every trip. Last trip my son was "put in jail by the sherriff". To get him out my husband had to ride a pony around the whole restaurant singing the zippity doo daahh song as loud as he could!!!!! I never laughed so hard in my life!! My husband had quite a time, it's a good thing he's not the shy type!!
The food is pretty good as well, I love the pulled pork in the skillet!

We enjoyed it here, especially the skilled meal with the pulled pork. Its not the type of fare we can find at home so maybe that is why we like it so much. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing.

been there - found the atmosphere fun and we were there for almost 2 hours (so it wasn't a rushed meal). disliked the family style skillet thing.

But we will eat there again and get individual meals.

Definitely ask for ketchup.

OMGosh! I can't fathom my husband doing this. My poor son would probably be in that jail the rest of the trip, LOL.
