Hello fellow DISers!
Just a few thoughts on our trip and my observations.
1.We stayed at ASMovies
Toy Story Building - loved it. No complaints. Room was clean and ready when we landed- did online check-in and bypassed front desk- magic band worked great!
2.We flew Southwest and used ME. Again no complaints. From landing to resort was 40 mins. We used the yellow tags and walked right onto the ME as soon as we got to our waiting area! This seemed to be our luck..all week we never waited more than 15 mins for any bus...often it was 5 min. Love the time boards at the bus stops. Very helpful
3. Great CMs at the resort and parks. Courteous,smiling,funny,helpful and what we have come to expect from Disney. DD8 got lots of stickers.
3. Food court at the resort was busy at times. We always found plenty of empty tables though. I did try some gluten free food and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Maybe because I was soo hungry!
4. Our schedule for the week
Monday- Animal Kingdom
Tuesday- Magic Kingdom
Wednesday - non park- Disney Springs and played mini golf Fantasia Gardens
Thursday -Epcot
Friday- Magic Kingdom
5. Frustrated with the MDE app. Once I was actually on Disney Property it wouldn't work for me. Couldn't see my FPs,ressies.kept freezing and getting error message. All week I had to log into the actual Disney Website.
6. FP+worked great. I was able to change and rearrange individual FPs as I needed. Several times 7DMT was available so keep checking!!!!!!
7. My DD8 did the Wilderness Explorers at Animal Kingdom,Sorcerers of the Kingdom at the Magic Kingdom and the Pirate Adventure in Adventure Land- we had a ball and loved them all!! Great free souvenirs too!!!!
8. The Dollar Store ponchos held up great. We used them daily and in the heaviest rains only got a little damp!
We had a great time and are now planning our next trip!! Please ask any questions and I'll try and answer!
