Just joining - question about when points expire...

I am just becoming a DVC member. If I have for instance 2010 October UY points when do they expire??? If I bank them when do they expire???

Oct 2010 use points expire September 30, 2011.

They must be banked by May 31, 2011.

If you bank them, they will in effect become 2011 points which would expire on Sept. 30, 2012.

and they cannot be banked again. (nor can they be "unbanked" and put back into the 2010 UY.)

to complicate things even more.....once you bank points, if you find you need points for a current year, as stated above you can not get your points back, but you can borrow from the future use year.
