We finally succumbed to the Disney propaganda and bought into DVC yesterday. Waiting for my package today and planning on doing the 7 day cruise in Dec 2010. Planning my first trip to BLT in the first week of March 2010. Did 270 points in a 180 and 90 point contract. The plan is to add on another 270 points in about 3 years or so in order to leave each of my kids 180 points. Will likely do those resale. We're so excited for the cruise! Too bad we have to wait a year and a half.

Congratulations. It took me a year to get my wife to agree. 2 days into our first trip home she TELLS ME " WERE GETTING MORE POINTS. Best thing we ever did.

Congratulations-- it's a big step. We just bought BLT in November and when we went to Disney on our honeymoon, got SO excited to see our new home!!!! I'm sure you're just as excited as we are.

Did you get two cruises or because you split the contracts, just one? We are very intrigued by this offer.

We got one 7 day cruise which is the max incentive. To get it you need a minimum of 270 points. Even though I have two contracts they still consider it as 270 points.

Someone else posted that they had to convince their wife. Funny that I had to as well!
