I don't know where you are from but I do know in our area it is really tough right now for new grads. I actually worked in the hospital up until this last semester started, haven't worked since but I have a scholarship too. They have until September to find me a job or let me out of my contract but like I said previously, it's been taking on average that long to get placed. I'm not really counting on anything until September.![]()
i'm from jacksonville, fl. i agree. it depends on where you are from. also it helps on who you know. my ED tech position i had was only because my mom knew the nurse manager of the ED. I had NO experience besides an emt certificate at the time and I got hired on the spot. I wouldn't even get an interview IMO without my mom. I went on from there to nursing school and the rest is history.
