Got home last night around 1AM from Orlando. I'm sad! I want to go back so bad! But lucky for you guys, soon i'll be posting lots of pictures, a trip report, and dining reviews! I had a BLAST by the way, but i'm sure you all could have guessed that.

I WANT TO START PLANNING ANOTHER WDW TRIP RIGHT NOW! Luckily, there's a chance i'll be going back in a couple months but I can't say too much on it right now, it's all very loose.

Hope everyone is having a great day .. :) :wizard:

Welcome back!

I can't wait to read your trip report and see your pictures!

Sounds like you had a good time. I know how it feels. When I come home or go home I need to know when my next Disney visit will be... It keeps me going ;)

Looking forwards to see pictures...

Glad you had a good trip. :cool1:

I just got back on Tuesday 4/5 from a fabulous trip to the Poly with my DH. It was our first trip alone in 23 years. We certainly missed the kids ( 20,17) but had such a relaxing time. We did a lot of strolling on Main Street. We sat on the swing on the beach at the Poly and watched Wishes. I must say we had one of the BEST times ever.
With that said, we came back to an email that said we could get the dining plan free from August 13- September. Well guess what? We got on the phone and planned a family vacation in August with the DS and DD. :bounce:

Curious to know how the crowds were last week? We're going next year, the first of April, and wondered what kind of crowds and wit times you had?

It's hard for me to judge. We usually go in the summer when the crowds are out of this world. The crowds last week weren't that bad to us. If you get in early for the big rides, you will miss the afternoon rush. The weather was perfect. I hope you have a wonderful time.

PS. I also think it depends on when spring break is. If it is close to the time you are down there you will find it more crowded.

I say plan away!

One of the first things I did when I returned in March, was to start a new ticker! :thumbsup2

It varied. Some days it was so crowded that while I was walking I was actually distracted and annoyed at people. This was mostly at the MK at night though.

This is what I found the March crowds to be like too. With great planning, we were able to do everything we wanted to multiple times, with no waits, but I still couldn't stand the MK crowds.

They were especially thick around SM and BTMR. I can't stand that area!

Sadly, we only went to the MK once during our seven day trip, because it really wasn't fun wading through a sea of people. We did what we wanted to do and got the heck out of Dodge.

Luckily, all the other parks were wonderful!

With everything fresh in your mind I'd love to know what your average wait time was for any ADR's you planned, especially for character meals... My family and I head down the first week of May and my wonderful wife has planned a bounty of CM's.

I just returned from a trip 4/5-4/9. We were a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children). We had ADR's for Alfredo's in WS, Cindy's for breakfast, Plaza rest. for dinner, and 50's Prime Time. I think our longest wait was at the very most 10 min and that was at the Plaza rest. We were seated almost immediately upon arriving. Overall, the crowds were not what I anticipated them to be. The longest we waited for any attaction was about 30 min for Splash Mnt. and that was only b/c my kids wanted to ride a second time in the evening and there were no more fast passes. I think we hit the right parks on the right days and were there at opening which helped. No complaints!! :thumbsup2

We have really been missing Disney!!!

(DD and I have dreams about Disneyworld alot!!!)

OK.... I've heard about the great Free Dining promotion for end of summer/September..... boy, I am really tempted to book another trip!!!!

Trying to convince Hubby who thinks we should wait a year or two before going again... but who's to say that this deal is a once in a lifetime opportunity?????

So...that's where I am at with my post-Disney depression.....
If you really feel the need to return this year, I think the free dining promotion may be the cure!!!
