We were in the World the week after Easter and used GAD FP and they were AMAZING......If you have any questions please ask! I would be happy to answer.

So sad to be home...but great time and BEAUTIFUL PERFECT weather!!!:wizard::wizard:

We want to ride TSM twice. The line for fastpasses for that ride can be as long as the line to ride. Can you put your card in, get a fastpass, then insert it again right away and get another? So we get two at once instead of standing in line 20 minutes each time.

Also, I thought I read when your Donald fastpasses ran out, you might be able to use your daisy ones for a Donald ride. Any luck with that at all?

Did you redeem after 11 at all? Was will call open early?

I a leaving in 3 days so I can not wait!!!

1. yes, yes, yes!!!!!! You can use them one right after the other!! AND at the same time that you are collecting your GAD FP's for the ride you can then put in your regular park ticket and get ANOTHER ONE! Thus, holding 3 fp's for TSM!!!! AND...JUST SO YOU KNOW, we used our park ticket FP"S after the return time every single day on every single ride....no questions asked...THAT was AWESOME!! That was the biggest secret that I learned from these boards....thanks everyone!!!!

2. We never experienced running out of donald's and using daisy's for donald...in fact we had a very hard time using all of them....CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT....we were there the week after easter and never once used all the donalds and daisy's up....we rode everything too(2 & 3 times).....it's amazing how much you can do when you are holding a golden ticket (gad fp) and normal regular fp's all at the same time...we gave FP's away!!!!

3. Did not redeem after 11 anyday, but I don't think they would have had a problem, but that is just my thought.

We were there at RD everyday and walked right up to will call every single day ....NO WAIT....except on Friday at Hollywood Studios...there was ginormus wait...I guess that was the first day you could turn GAD vouchers in for park tickets from the blackout dates...we waited quite a long time...get there early and you will hopefully not have to wait like us.

REMEMBER.....even though the FP'S have been distributed for the day and they are all covered up ....you are still eligible to get them...there will be a FP machine open with a picture of the FP card that you get....just use it and valaaaa!!!!:wizard: there is your FP! If you do not see the FP machine that is open..ask a CM and they will open up a machine and get you one immediately....you should've seen the look on peoples faces...and the questions....oh my!!!

HAVE A GREAT TIME...WEATHER WAS PERFECT...CAN I GO?????:guilty::guilty:

If you have anymore questions...just ask.

Did you happen to go into any of hte parks early for a pre opening ADR? I'm curious what time the booth was open to trade in your voucher.

No, did not....the earliest we were at a park was at 6:45 am at Magic Kingdom when it was EMH beginning at 7:00am....and the will call window was open.

We were there last week, too. Used our "magic fastpasses" at DHS. One day we used my voucher and got FP's for our group -- included me and DD15 as well as my sister's family of 4. Another day, DD15 and I used her voucher at DHS for the 2 of us (sister's family had left). We did not use all of our Daisy FPs. We rode Toy Story 4 times that day and TOT 3 times.

The first day, we got our FP's at Guest Relations. The second day, we went to Will Call. Worked fine both times. We saw lots of people with the Honorary VoluntEars buttons. It was fun to talk with people about their volunteer experiences. The Disney CM's were very interested in what people did, etc.

I can not wait to go!!! I plan to use my regular ticket to get a fastpass as well so that we can ride ride ride.

Sandi,

Did you use Daisy rides for Donald rides? or just your regular ticket?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that there were 7 of us in my group and there was absolutely no problem at all getting for all 7 of us....no questions...

OH! also, we had 6 gad vouchers and we only went to 4 parks. 2 days we were able to cash in 2 gad vouchers for FP's....meaning all 7 of us had 12 fp's for the day!!!

The parks were VERY MANAGEABLE for being the week after Easter...of course that is easy for us to say when we had alll the fastpasses, but I was expecting it to be way more crowded....in fact, we were in Epcot on Easter and I was Amazed at how many rides we just walked on!!! Didn't even need fastpasses for...we of course used them for Soarin' and Fast Track....but other than that we were pleasantly surprised

Have a super vacation!

On the using Donald credits up and using Daisy credits at Donald attractions - I do not believe this is possible and have never seen anyone report it. If it were possible, then they wouldn't bother dividing up the attractions.

What I HAVE heard, but not confirmed, is that you can use Donald credits at Daisy attractions if you have used the Daisy credits up...which can be useful to those who do not do thrill rides at all, but still it cn be real hard to use those Daisy credits...

On using the cards multiple times, yes, you can re-insert the same card several times and get FPs, as long as you have the appropriate credits available.

We are a group of 11. 8 of us have GAD passes (1 of the other three is only 5 and they wouldn't let him make a blanket for a pass ...he DID ANYWAY!!!!!! great kid :) )and the other two were not able to participate :(
we are in the world together for 7 days. Do i understand this correctly
We can trade in a GAD pass for up to 6 people? So ..IF we used 2 passes a day we would have enuf for 12 people (we'll have to find a stray <grin>)
for 4 days of parks.
Do i have my head around this right?

Plus on top of this we'll have our regular FP's...

Yes, a GAD voucher can be traded in for FP Exchange Cards for each member of your group up to an advertised maximum of 6.

Sandi,

Did you use Daisy rides for Donald rides? or just your regular ticket?

No, we used our Donald rides and regular tickets to do TSM and TOT so much. We got a regular FP and one "magic" FP for TSM first thing, rode without a FP, came back for our regular FP and then did the magic ride right after that. Then, we were debating whether to use the magic FP for 2 TOTs or 2 more TSM. We got a TSM FP after all the regular FPs were distributed. That was the coolest thing!

We used Daisy to see Little Mermaid and then got FPs for Star Tours and gave them to a family that was waiting to get FPs. (We had already done ST when another guy gave us his FPs and I can only do that ride once per trip!) We were given bonus FPs for Lights, Motors, Action on an earlier day in the trip and saw that then.

We referred to the Donald options as the "cool ride FP" and the Daisy options as the "loser ride FP." We did not attempt to get Donald FPs for the Daisy credits. I'm sure that wouldn't have worked, but we didn't even try.

Wow! That is great news for us - 3 little kids and scaredy-cat parents!

How long is ginormous?

T

I wouldn't worry about the ginormous wait at Will Call. There was a blocked out period for redeeming the vouchers for a ticket over the Easter holidays. So, I think there were a number of people who were waiting for the block out to expire so they could get the tickets (not the special FP). I would guess that has eased up now.

We overheard a number of disgruntled people who didn't read the fine print on their vouchers and were upset to learn they couldn't get the free ticket during the Easter break.

If I am using my FP Card, is there any reason to use the regular FP ticket that everyone can get?

If so, should I use my FP Card first and then use the regular FP tickets?

If the regular FP tickets are no longer avaliable for a ride in the afternoon, can I just us my FP Card for that ride?
