I just got my documents for 9/18 Wonder. I was reading through the Passport to Disney Wonder and had some questions:

1. Are meals on Castaway Cay included?

2. Is Tritons very fancy? Both my DS and I are simple eaters and would probably not find anything we like on their menu. He is 4 and only eats hot dogs and chicken nuggets. This being said, should I skip that dinner and just go to Pinocchios for pizza? Also, is the buffet always open?

3. How much is the refillable souvenier mug for a 3nt cruise?

Thank you to anyone who can help!

I like the food at tritons and never skip a meal here. The kid's menu will definitely have either chicken fingers or hot dog. If you can't find something on the regular menu that they like, they always have a grilled steak, grilled salmon or grilled chicken breast available--basic but good. Go to dcltribute.com or castawayclub.com to review the menus. The buffet isn't always open on the 3 night, if I remember correctly. The cost of the mug is about $15 for the 3 night.

If I remember correctly the menu was posted outside the restaurant so you can review it before you decide whether to skip it and go to deck 9 for dinner. There are options that you should be able to enjoy. As for your 4 yr old - all restaurants have a child's menu and chickend fingers are available.

Did your docs come in the mail or did you pick them up from your TA? We are on the same cruise as you, so I am wondering if mine might show up soon. We are booked on DVC points, so that will probably effect ours.

Thanks,
DJ

Hi Fellow cruiser! I got my tickets in the mail today, which is odd because I booked thru a travel agent. Actually, I am a travel agent, and I booked through me, so I thought tickets would be sent to my office, but they were waiting for me when I got home today. When I called DCL yesterday, they told me they were mailed on 8/7. I don't know if they do them all at the same time or what, but I am sure you will get yours soon!

We are leaving on the 8/30 Magic 7 day Western and use All Seasons Travel and have not received our documents yet. Anyone else use them and not get documents yet?
This is our third cruise and by far we got them much earlier on the other 2--we used travelocity the first time and a small private agent the last time.
All Seasons says they were put in the mail Monday; I was surprised they were not expressed mailed to us since they were sent so late.
Please comment.

I am cruising September 21st and I booked with All Seasons. I received my docs about on August 14th. Another person on my cruise booked with them and they got theres as well. That is strange that it has taken them so long to send them. When did you book your cruise?

Cathy

We booked about 3 months ago; and they lost our file; I noticed 60 days before our cruise we were not billed the rest of our cruise money; so day 55 days or so before the cruise, I called them and they said they lost our file but would take care of it immediately and then assured us all was well and they charged the rest of our depost (minus the $750) to our AMEXCO. The charges showed up in our card that month; we have paid our cruise in full.
I am wondering why All Seasons made the decision to send such late docs by priority mail and not express mail? Gosh I guess they are not like me. I would have expressed mailed them; I told them we are leaving next week and I was very concerned.
They said no problem. If you do not get them Disney will reissue at the port.
My guess is they did not want to spend the $ on express mail.
They said they got all this cruises docs on Saturday and sent them priority mail on Monday AM; they said it is because they had so many cruising at that time that Disney sends them late; I just find it hard to understand why Disney would send their popular travel agent the docs so late.
I will not worry though because I would think since they have a good rep we will get them some time this week (a week before we cruise). However, it does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling and I would suggest to them in the future when they get docs that late they should express mail them.
What do you guys think?

hmmm, I just don't understand why they're so "casual" about it.. you're right, first they lose your file....you'd think they'd want to get them to you fast after losing your file. Yeah, you can complete your documents at the Port, but why? Why waste the time, they may not take that long to complete, but still??

I don't trust anything "priority" through the USPS... when my boss tells me to send something priority, I send it 2nd day UPS.. I know it will get there A LOT faster and a lot cheaper than the post office. My post office here is just plain bad...

Personally, I'd call DCL to confirm your reservation! I'd explain what happen and just kindly ask them to check your ressie. I wouldn't panic, and you're not, and that's good. I'd just call and ask what happens if your docs don't come in time.

The docs for 8/30 cruise arrived today; we got the stateroom we asked for--7120.
Chuck, President of All Seasons said in the future they will probably send the docs express mail if they come in late and pretty close to cruise time and they are adding hours for Saturday.
They have been real attentive; their prices are good, so I do not want to be hard on them and hope no one else worries about this issue. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.
No one is perfect, including me!
