I enjoy reading these boards before my trips for the ideas and mental candy. Thanks all.
As a review of the FP+ system, I have to say that I really liked it. I was skeptical/annoyed when I first heard as I though that I had the old system under control. I stayed offsite but I was able to get everything that I wanted albeit the Dwarves and the A&E meet and greet were in the evening, which limited the ability to get extra FPs.
We rope-dropped, drove away for afternoon breaks and stayed till close. In doing so, we rode everything we wanted with many repeats.
I still love MK and Epcot but I have to say that the HS and AK were just ok. AK doesn't really have enough. In hindsight, I wish I had just set up later afternoon FPs and avoided the rope drop (maybe combined with a water park). HS stays open later but that place really shuts down in the evening. When you combine the shut down rides due to the fireworks with the shows/rides that don't go later into the evening, you are left with little open and the crowds go there. I did like the Frozen add ons. The fireworks show was a fav.
If I were being picky, it seems like the 3rd shift there needs to do a little extra. Some of the cue areas create messes in harder to reach areas. The have quite a rep to live up to and it is a bit sad when they don't. (Plus what is up with the leaving the hairbands thinks at BB? Very off putting)
