Everyone is different and not all the people in my family feel the same way about Disney as I do. Two of my DS's love thrill rides, one DS likes to work out in the exercise rooms, my DD likes to be at Epcot the most and I just love being in any park and going on the less daring rides. My DH enjoys a vacation and goes with the flow, but is waiting for us to relax a little more at the pools or waterparks a little more. We are DVC owners. My two DS's would like to go to US/IOA sometime in the future because of their love of thrill rides, but I haven't made any plans for that, yet.
I have no desire.
I try to plan different things for our Disney trips, such as trying a new restaurant, miniature golf, renting boats, making sure we catch more entertainment in Epcot World Showcase (acrobats, candy maker, picking oysters with pearls, etc. etc.) and bikes and (for the daring ones in my family) parasailing, Aqua Seas tour in Epcot, and fishing excursions have made each trip a little different. I wish more of my kids were old enough for the Segway tour and, maybe one day, we'll do one of the other wonderful sounding tours Disney offers.
Disney has so much to do on a vacation, but I guess if you are just looking for thrill rides it may fall short. Lucky for me that it's not mostly that or there wouldn't be anything for me to enjoy!
That was a funny comment, Detective Mickey! I am someone who likes things the same and there are some attractions that aren't around anymore and I miss them. I enjoy a lot of the new ones of course, just too bad they have to be at the expense of the old.
Anyway, I don't think any of my family would find our trips boring--it just takes good planning if you don't want to wait in long lines or see the "same old" things.
I wish less people liked Disney so it wouldn't be as crowded when I go!
