Hi
My DH and I just got back from CSR last night. This is a gorgeous resort!! Thanks Buzz for all your great info. I requested Cabana bldg. 9B, since my DH is having knee surgery on 12/20 and wanted something close. They gave us a Casita room that seemed a little too far away from the main building. So I told them about his knee and said we were renting a scooter for him, and the CM changed our room to cabana 9b. It was really close to El Centro. We enjoyed the Pepper Market and didn't find it confusing at all. It was so easy to get your food. We also sat outside one night at the patio bar. CSR is a really relaxing resort. Also, the busses were the best I've ever been on. The only night that was crowded on the bus was coming back from Illuminations. Other than that, my DH and I had a bus all to ourselves, and the most we had was 10 people on the bus one morning. The resort is super clean and the CM's that we had contact with were very friendly. We didn't use the pool at all, but I took pictures and it is awesome.
I like CSR, but you guys probably won't believe this, I felt myself missing Pop Century. I liked Pop's food court better and we were always in the 50's or 70's section, so we didn't have a far walk to the pool or main bldg or busses. CSR is so spread out, that I don't think I would bring small children here. Children would love the pool, but it can be quite a hike to get to it. It seems more like an adult resort and I think that's why my DH liked it so much. It's more upscale, and doesn't have all the craziness that Pop has. It's very quiet. I took advantage of the bounce back promotion, but had to ask about it at the front desk. There wasn't any flyer in our room. I made reservations for my DD and DGD (5) at POFQ for August, with 30% off the room. Thanks again Buzz for all your great info and I'm happy we stayed at CSR!!
