We just returned from a 2 day Sea World birthday trip for my son. We stayed at the Residence Inn and we really liked the location and hotel. We saw every show and decided to go see clyde and seamore, "sealions tonight" at 8:15 pm. This show is only once a day, they make fun of all the other shows. It was the kids favorite show, we laughed so hard. I would only recommend this show if you saw alot of the shows, other wise you wont get the jokes. If anyone has any questions I will try and answer for you.

I agree my kids love that show also. I get a big kick out of the pre-show mime. I would love to have his job for a week, he looks like he has a blast. Did you see him by chance? Graham

Hi

Did you walk over to Sea world? if not how did you get there?

Best wishes
Ruth

Would it be recommended to see this show AFTER having seen all the others? Just wondering if most of the jokes might be lost on us otherwise... Or maybe seeing it first will give us something to chuckle about during the other shows... Just trying to figure out what we can fit in between 6:00PM and closing (8:30PM) the night before we are spending the day at Sea World...

Yes, the mime was great, we laughed so hard, we were in front so we could really see all his expressions.

I would wait to see the show until you have seen at least some of the others. I dont know that I would have found it as funny. If you are starting in the evening, I would ride Atlantis and the Kracken as many times as you could and see the penguins at night then go see the evening Believe show. During the day the lines were long for the rides. You will have a great time.

We didnt do anything specific for the birthday, we figured this trip was good enough. But, if you go see believe they bring a child out from the audience to feed shamu, see if you can find an employee in the stadium long before the show starts and ask for a special birthday treat if you child could be the one picked from the crowd. That would make a very memorable birthday!

Yes, we liked the hotel. We stayed in a designated two bedroom, not one hint of smoke. The free breakfast buffet is actually good too. At night there is also happy hour. Near the pool there is a bar and mini restaurant (pizza Hut) that stays open until 11:00 pm. You will not want to walk to Sea World. Its not that far but not within a comfortable walking distance. Check with the front desk, there is a shuttle that leaves only twice a day once morning then evening. We had a car so it was very convenient. For 5 days I would want transportation. You will be close to alot of shops and restaurants too. I know you will have a wonderful trip.

We live in Florida and we are DVC members so if you need any information on Disney I will be happy to try and answer those questions too. :yay:

The night pirate show will soon be ending-probably Labor Day will be it till next summer. Not sure if they offer it during the Christmas week.
