concierge cannot change reservations/prices...just like the front desk, they can only offer at rack rate

Good morning-
I was on hold for 55 minutes this am.
Tried for WL woods view or courtyard view 10/6-10/10--nothing but a deluxe room available for $400 per night.

I was able to change to the AKL Pool view for $135+tax per night.
My reservation went from $1165 to $602!!!

I applied EWP today and for our visit 10/23 1 night Carribean Beach=$110.39 w/ tax
10/24-26... Polynesian GV=$255.34 per night
10-27 & 28... Wilderness Lodge standard view NO AP RATES! all sold out
Yes, we are changing resorts 3 times! I am crazy-thats what they tell me....
OH WELL, I saved $413.00 on my ressies from the original rack rate I can live with that! Good luck everyone! I was on hold 1 hour this am. Don't fall asleep waiting it will be worth it!

I had called the concierge line and it just rang and rang. Got right through to CRO at 8am CST and got AKL concierge rate of $373 including tax for Nov 15-20.

Rates available most nights 10/31/04-12/25/04. Not available at all from 11/10/04-11/13/04 and 11/23/04-11/27/04. Tax not included. The number of rooms available at these rates is limited.

Thank You soooo much for this. I almost went back to bed this morning because I checked on Mousesavers and nothing. I got my dates and the resort I wanted and right now, that is good enough. I'm thrilled.-Stacey

We are going Dec 7-12 and I was told no value resorts left--even the rack rooms were gone. Could be true that is the week of Mousefest. Anyway she said they still had cabins at $139 (before tax). We took a CR gv room for $146--tax incl. We needed 2 rooms or one resort that sleeps 6 (before the flamers get out their torches baby is 2).
Never stayed at CR so it could be fun. I really dont care where we stay as long as I am there.

I just got Pop Century this morning, Dec 8-15 standard view at the AP rate of $49, so there are still a few Value Resort rooms left at Passholder rate during Mousefest.
