Just Got a Pin Code! Yipeee!!!

Two weeks ago I signed up my husband for an account with Disney. I saved 4 packages under his name. Today, I just got the GAME ON PIN Code. I saw the dates listed on there for January 2012. We aren't going until June 2012. But saw at the bottom, "ask about other dates." On a different board, I saw someone posted the link to check your pin code. I went to that link and plugged in my June dates, and it worked! I will save over $600.00. Now, the trip is already booked under my name. Do I just call and ask them to apply the pin code to the reservation that has already been booked?

I decided to call. The agent applied the pin and I saved $604.20.

The link is for when you get a pin code sent to you. So, I plugged in my pin code that I got emailed to me this evening to see how much I was going to save. Than I called to have the pin added because I already had the vacation booked. For those who get a pin code, you can go to the link and plug in your pin code and book your vacation right from there.

I thought I read somewhere, that the general public are sometimes offered the same offer that people received in their PIN codes, just a few months later??

That is what I thought too. But the offer that is out right now for the general public is 20% off rooms for the dates that I am going. The PIN I got was for 30% off and I could use it any dates for 2012 on any room. I'm staying at POR in the Royal Room and I don't believe the offer that is out now for the general public covers that.

It must be for no black out dates. Because when I called to have the pin applied, she said I had a great pin that I could use it for any date.

That is the PIN I will pray I get then! Thanks, it gives me hope. Wish it could be used by others, but I'm glad to know it exists and congrats for getting it.

i got a pin code yesterday too. we are already booked at POR and the pin is for my dates! we are already saving 400.00 booking thru AAA, the pin does give me an upgrade however. i put in the contemporary and it includes a tower room!! question tho... if you use the pin code and free dining is offered, i am assuimng you lose your pin discount??

It is one or the other. Disney does not stack codes.

You will need to see which is the better deal for your family.
