Just got a 1BR for HH

We are going to HH for the first time in a month. We had a studio for 3 nights, but I called this morning and changed to 2 nights in a studio and 2 nights in a 1 BR. This will be our first visit to HH, so we are excited. We have 2 kids, 10 and 8. What is a must do for some family fun?

You will love it there. We've done the dolphin cruise and kayaking, and loved both. Any of the nature activities that we have participated in have been great too. We're hoping to return for our fourth trip there next April!

We just returned on 6/19. My kids are 11 and 9. They said they both liked the kids night out, especially the movie night. DS11 liked kayaking a lot. And I loved seeing how they both enjoyed the pool dance party (8PM at Big Dipper). The pool games at the Beach House were excellent, too.

Ironically, my kids weren't too high on the campfires or the B'Lou Crabbe storytelling. That kinda bummed me out cuz I really wanted to do those things.

In a few days I'll have our trip report done for more complete reviews and recommendations.

HH is our homebase and we love it......Between the pool, the pool at the beach and the beach...my kids were perfectly satisfied. We usually go over the 4th of July....which we will be going again this year over the 4th! They have fireworks every Tuesday during the whole month of July. On the 4th, they have water volleyball at the pool by the beach, decorating bikes with the spirit of July 4th and they are judged, watermelon spitting contests,tag football on the beach, etc. Lots of activities for the kids. Loads of fun! Hope you have a wonderful time!!!
