It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Thanks! It was fun and interesting reading; a great break from this hectic Monday that I'm having! The best was the end, as I was reading it (raising my bended arm up to my head to see how close my mouth it could get -- I never stuck my tongue out though!) I was wondering how many people actually try!

Thanks again!

Oh man, it really is impossible! LoL!!! Not that I tried or anything like that! ;)

Keep 'em comin'...you got a ways to go to get to 1000 posts!!! :p

But sometimes doesn't it seem like some people's heads must weigh more?? ;)

and when asked, wives will refuse to lick their husband's elbow 100 percent of the time (well at least that was the consensus in our house).

Ed,
question for you?
You wrote that people who have zinc and copper in their hair are more intelligent. NOt sure what color zinc oxidizes, but we know copper turns green.
Does that mean that when I go in the pool during the summer and my hair turns green I am really very smart?
I never tried to lick my elbow though, but how many of you can touch your nose with your tongue??? No, I can't do that either. lol
ED you have too much time on your hands. Peggie

I can touch my nose with my tongue, and I am positive that you all can too!

Just touch your nose and you've touched your nose WITH your tongue!

It runs along the same line as "How many animals eat with their tails?" All animals eat with their tails (with the exception of those few animals that can "lose" their tail when a predator has hold of it!).

Thanks again for the fun trivia today!

Comeon now...youre not gonna get to 1000 at this rate! ;)
