Just Engaged Button Discontinued?!

When we were at the the world last week we were told that they discontinued the just engaged buttons? We had difficulties tracking it down.
Anyone have info why or if they are replacing it with a new design?

Might be wrong, but I Think they have just gone to a generic "I'm celebrating" button and the CM will just sharpie in what your exact celebration is. That's what they gave us when we were just married and when a friend had a birthday.

A couple of years ago, Disney started only giving the actual "Just Engaged" buttons to people who booked an engagement package through Disney. Anyone else gets the "I'm celebrating" buttons.

I hope it isn't true I know I put in my reservation that it's an engagement trip. The Dgf is really looking forward to the pin. Yes she knows its coming she said something last year that a ring she wanted was gone and I said no your not getting it for valentine's and she said oh pour not going to do it on our disney trip are you and I couldn't even lie my way out I was busted.

When DF proposed to me at AK, a CM gave us the "Just Engaged" pin right away and wrote in our engagement date using a sharpie marker. We didn't have an engagement package booked or anything. This was in 2013, so fairly recently. I hope they don't do away with them, we really enjoyed wearing them our whole vacation! We are now looking forward to wearing the "Happily Ever After" pins this coming September for our honeymoon!

I got engaged 3 weeks ago today In magic kingdom. We were given our pins and were told it's super rare to get them since they are being discontinued.

We have a set got them in Dec of 2013. If they truly are d/cing them happy we have a set, besides the sentimental value.

DH and I were given Just Engaged buttons by a CM who also gave us I'm Celebrating, Happily Ever After, and First Visit buttons on our wedding trip in October 2014. We got really lucky and were given the discontinued Just Married buttons by a CM at the resort we were staying at. That's a shame that they may be discontinuing those buttons.

This. My parents went to the world a few weeks ago and I asked them to bring us back Just Married buttons to wear on our honeymoon Disney trip in October. All they could find were Happily Ever After buttons.

My DD just got engaged March 18 at 1900 Park Fare (super cute engagement story BTW--I should share it sometime). On our way out we stopped at the GF concierge desk and asked for the buttons and was given a set with no hesitation.

They have been phasing them out for a while, getting more and more rare. Its I'm celebrating now and they will write just engaged on it

I proposed to my now wife in Disney World back in 2011. We were given "Happily Ever After" buttons at the front desk at POR. The CM said way back then that they are slowly phasing out the "Just Engaged" buttons and she had none left and gave us the "Happily Ever After" buttons instead. We have two sets of those buttons, one from the trip we got engaged and another set from our Honeymoon trip in 2013.

World of Disney at DTD had the Just Engaged buttons last weekend.

I was buying the bride and groom hats for my brother and his fiancé b/c they are going to honeymoon at Disney, and they handed me two sets of Just Engaged and Happily Ever After buttons without me asking.

i went on my honeymoon in 2010 and originally was given the generic im celebrating pin and was told the just married pins were discontinued. we went to the character spot on our 2nd day and they gave us the just married pins and said they were not discontinued but many places run out. obviously this was 4.5 yrs ago- but just goes to show the just engaged, just married, anniversary (which I have a million of I think) pins are always in the process of being discontinued but still seem to magically appear. who knows what they may have in stock when you arrive, so don't count on them, but don't dismiss it as impossible either...
