This a pretty much pointless question but.. For some reason whenever we go to MK we ALWAYS start out in tomorrow land. We never discuss it, we just do it! Does anyone else do this? Is it better to start out in Fantasy or adventure land? ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Since we go on vacation for 14-17 days, we tend to start in Tomorrowland one day and on a different day we do Adventureland. We do this to go on the best rides first so we don't have to stand in line, plus we always use fastpass. My kids are bigger now so we don't 'have' to go to Fantasyland for those rides and tend to do them at different times of the day. We do the same thing at Epcot, AK, and MGM.

We always start our MK days at Tomorrowland. Why? Because that's just the way we do it! ;) It's what feels right to us, so that's what we do.

We always make Splash Mountain our first stop, so we begin in Frontierland.

The first time we go to the Magic Kingdom on any trip we have to ride Pirates first, so we start in Adventureland.

We start in tomorrowland too. I guess one reason is because it's right there when you go up Main Street. The other is that we like to do Toontown early, so usually we are ready to go there about opening once we hit up a few things in Tomorrowland.

When DGD was younger it was straight to Fantasyland. Now it's straight to Fronteerland and the mountains.

We start in Fantasyland right now because of our kids' ages, but I see it being Frontierland pretty soon.

We always start out in Adventureland/Frontierland first (to tell you the truth, I'm not sure where one ends and the other begins!). We go for the mountains and Pirates first.

I guess this is because we want to get on the rides straightaway with no wait. Plus the atmosphere is nice. I like tomorrowland at night much better than during the day.

We always start in Fantasyland because that area gets so very crowded later in the day.

If you go to Fantasyland first now, beware! I do to, although my kids are grown and gone. So why? Part of it is habit. But I wonder if it looks strange-this 51 yo woman, usually solo, making a beeline for Fantasyland!

I think it depends on what time we arrive. We are arriving midday this Saturday and will likely start off in Fantasyland because we have an early dinner PS in CRT. If I arrive early, I tend to head towards Splash mountain to avoid lines. :)

Although my favorite rides are HM and Pirates.... I like to get Fantasyland done first, since Snow White and Small World are like a WDW warmup, and Pooh and Peter Pan are virtually impossible to get into later in the day. I work my way towards HM because its an excuse to keep pushing forward even though I want to pass out! Also, I can then do all the Fantasyland stuff on the way out a second time, if not crowded. To me, it feels like not walking through the castle and going towards Fantasyland first would be unnatural...

In one of my guidebooks it talks about this exact thing. For some reason a lot of people tend to turn RIGHT when they first walk into a place-whether it be MK or your grocery store! So, a lot of people end up touring MK in a counter-clockwise direction, beginning with Tomorrowland which is the first area on the right of course.

So in this book it advises to start out somewhere other than Tomorrowland. Interesting!

tomorrowland where I totally wipe the floor with hub on Buzz( this is the ONLY video game I EVER win and usually lose badly til the very end when I blast him out of the water much to his chagrin ( his "I don't really care" fake reaction is worth the ticket price:)! )..evidently I manage to hit the right target unintentionally! this may change though since he refused to go back on after my 3rd win in a row ::yes::
