Just Curious...

We use the save all the time at both WDW and on the cruise ships never have had an issue. Always put wallets, ipods, and other valuables always there when we return.

The only problem I had with the safe was I forgot to take the MNSSHP tickets out of it before going to the party last year. I don't think I could blame that on Disney. But guest services did get them reissued. I would have gone back to get them, we were at POFQ, but we had an ADR at LTT to get to. It's a good thing they could reissue them, it was sold out that night in Sept too.

I've never had a problem with anything going missing, I feel like my belongings are well kept in the safe thought.

I am not sure about any of the other Resorts but at the Contemporary they replaced the old safes that locked with a key, to ones that you can now lock with your own combination number. We have used this a few times since their rooms were renovated and in our opinion they are a lot better then the ones that open with a key.

We've never had a problem with the safes. I keep all of our cash in the safe. My husband has epilepsy and takes over 30 pills a day. Needless to say, ten days worth of medicine is quite a lot. I always lock it up in the safe too.

I never thought about meds until my last trip -- locked them up too! More money in meds than I had in cash!
