Since I've had no replies...I'm assuming this means there has never been a problem with something being taken from an in room safe???

We've never had a problem and we've used the safes every time we were at a WDW resort.

There was thread about this about two weeks ago, a lady said she had cash taken out of her safe, I think it was about $ 400.00. I have used the safes at various resorts and have left cash and have no problems. You control the key and I would think that Mgt. would have very tight control of a master.

I've never had anything missing, but was considering putting about $500 cash in a safe and wanted to make sure it would be safe.

I always leave cash and my wallet in the safe and never had any issues.

We use the room safes all the time and never have a problem.

I've even forgotten to close it a couple times when in a rush out the door and returned to find everything still there, thank goodness!

I use the room safes wherever we vacation (WDW, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Vegas, etc.) and have never had a problem or anything go missing.

We've never had a problem with the safes. I keep all of our cash in the safe. My husband has epilepsy and takes over 30 pills a day. Needless to say, ten days worth of medicine is quite a lot. I always lock it up in the safe too.
