I have no idea why this even crossed my mind today, but I remembered a guy on here who was going to surprise his girlfriend with an engagement ring for Christmas, and I wondered how it went. He was very, very excited about it. I might have missed when he posted more about it.

I know they seemed to get serious pretty quickly, and she went to Europe for a little while. He was going to ask her parents (mother, maybe?) for permission back in November, I think, but that's the last I saw anything.

Anybody know how things turned out?

It's wierd how things stick in your mind and then pop out for no apparent reason.

I am glad I could help!!! I seem to file away all of the little unimportant tidbits to pull out later, but do you think I can recall the important stuff I try to file away???
