Just curious, where else do you like to go?

Dh's family has a shore house in Sea Isle, NJ. We go there for a week every summer. It's our lazy around the beach vacation as opposed to our get up and go Disney trips! I love it every year

We love to cruise. This summer we went to Alaska -- a beautiful place. We loved it so much we're returning in August.

Hawaii every other year. (Oahu, and Maui. We want to get to the other islands one of these days!) Short road trips (6 hour drive, 3 day stay) to Northern Wisconsin once a year.

And my work takes me all over the US and Canada for seminars--we usually tack on several days vacation where ever we go. It's nice seeing a variety of places.

I'm going to throw a curveball at you...If you enjoy visitng Europe and are more attracted to the old world charm rather than the "touristy" areas, I strongly suggest visiting the Azores. The Azores are a group of 9 islands hafway between the U.S. and Europe. It is about a 4.5 hour flight from Boston. The people there speak Portuguese and English so you will not have a problem communicating.

The islands and people have the old world charm and beauty without all the touristy sites. The best part...hotels, eating and drinking are CHEAP. It is great escape from our hectic lives for a peaceful and tranquil getaway.

Our vote is
#1 for Hawaii, we haven't been but really want to go.
#2 Camping around the NE US, great scenery and camping in a 40' trailer is not too rough.
#3 Europe and Asia A bunch to see and do with great historical and scenic value.

We love the Caribbean- mostly Jamaica. And we are die-hard fans of the Sandals resort chain. We try to go once a year. Our current favorite is Sandals Whitehouse, Jamaica.
