I work for a non-profit agency. Our program does many great things involving early childhood - finding care for parents, training adults, visiting child care settings, etc etc

DH is an oil field consultant, currently contracting with a major company overseas.

And we are both LSU sports fans - almost a full time job!

I work for Best Buy as an Appliance Supervisor. I'm the one you see when you want it hot, cold or clean. But don't ask me Plasma vs. LCD. I have a small 25" tube tv at my house.

I am a HS science teacher (biology and chemistry - insert your groan here, but I LOVE it). DH is an airport manager meaning that he runs the airport operations. Unfortunately, the airport he manages does not have commercial service, and his job would not get us any "freebies" with the airlines anyway. If it did - boy would we own more points because we would go to WDW more often (like the "quick" weekend). <sigh>

I am a photojournalist, have been the Chief Photographer for a small daily newspaper for 21 years which pays for standard monthly bills. I also do freelance photography on the side, weddings, senior portraits and some commercial work which pays for everything else. My wife is SAHM who does part-time housecleaning on the side.

Great thread. Lots of interesting occupations. I am a financial planner and hold my Certified Financial Planner designation. I do comprehensive financial planning and asset management with an independent firm. DH is a retired nuclear engineer. I tell people the fact he was able to retire so young is evidence of how good a financial planner I am.

I am a professional volunteer who does not know how to say no. I just recently quit my last paying job of transcription for DHS. Before that I did transcription for the VA. I now need therapy of my own.

DH manages a grocery store.

I jsut did a search for the group and listened to Lirty Dies. What a funny group. They would be really good to see.
