Hoenestly, I was looking at my scrapbooks today and realized... I just love to distress. I think almost every page has some sort of ink used on the edges of something. I especially am addicted to the Tim Holtz distressing inks. Anyone else or I am in this alone?

Me!!!! We joked at Christmas because Santa didn't bring me gifts, Tim Holtz did. That was pretty much all I got! LOL

Good to know I am not alone. I ink all my scrapbook pages and sand all my cards, or both.

I like ink - but usually forget until I've got whatever it is stuck down :(

I ink nearly all the time- in fact some of my pads are worn out from the edges of card:rolleyes1 the foam is breaking down and leaving bits everywhere:headache: Guess I should splash out on a new pad or two:rolleyes1 seems to be the brown ones mostly

I love distressing! Unfortunately, I'm not too good with the Tim Holtz ones. BAMB, next time we see each other (probably in Florida, with how things work) can you show me how to distress with his ink? haha. I have the little applicator and everything, but it doesn't spread evenly. :(

So glad to hear I am not alone. My goodness, I just love papercrafting. And the inks are just wonderful. I also like looking at the distressing videos on youtube. I get some great ideas there. Any place else for ideas?

Oh yeah!! Love to distress too! I don't use Tim Holtz too much though. I like the small cat's-eye shaped mini ink pads. They work great and are cheap to replace.

oh me me me. I actually one a fgift from the Tim Holtz blog during his 12 tags of Christmas. He sent me 2 distressing inks, 3 stickles, and a white dabber inside a really nice carrying case. I have been stuck on his inks ever since. They are awesome!

I love to ink as well :goodvibes I used to use the cat eyes but got frustrated with them coming off all the time NOW I'm using the ones made by QuickQuotes and I'm absolutely in love with them :lmao:. I can't wait for CKC-Valley Forge to get the new colors!:thumbsup2

I liked the ones from quick quotes too, but mine dried out so fast. I think maybe I used them too much.:) I wish I was going to Valley Forge. I only went once a couple of years ago and loved it. But my girlfriends don't scrap as much anymore so I don't really have a travel buddy to help keep the costs down.

Have fun!

 How many days is it now? 138 or something like that?

130 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes and 35 seconds but who's counting......:rolleyes1

I am sooo jealous!!!!

I love to distress with inks too, and I need to attend a Tim Holtz class at my LSS! BUT -I am now addicted to the new Coredinations paper, where the core is a different color and you run it through your embossing machine and then sand the top layer off to reveal the color beneath. I have used the turquoise with the lighter turquoise core, the black magic with the red core and the white washed with the red core...so cool looking on cards! I did a bunch for a friend and she went crazy over them!

These sound so cool! I have used white core paper and embossed and distressed it and I love how it looks, but black with red core, that sounds so great.
