Situation:

50 point HHI
50 point SSR

March Use Year for both

Can I make reservations at HHI 11 months in advance using all 100 points or only the 50 HHI points?

or if I have 100 points at HHI

Would there be anyway I could make reservations in July for a June vacation (over 200 points) with a March use year ? If I have 100 point banked from 2006 to make reservations for June 2007 would I have to borrow the 2007 points or can I make a reservation with the 2007 points that I will get in March? If I have to borrow there is no way to bank, use current year, and borrow for a better vacation because wouldn't my banked points expire before the June vacation?

The 11 month window would be good for where you owned the points only. So in this case 50pts or 100 if your borrow into the next UY. All the points would not be available until the 7 month window.

If you only have 50 points at a resort - the highest number of points that you could use to make a reservation (without renting some from someone else) is 150. And that is with all the points banked from one year and borrowed from another.

If you want to be able to book a 200 point vacation 11 months out, you will need to own a minimum of 67 points at that resort. (if you don't plan to rent any from another member) And you can only do this every 3 years.

The banked points are good for the exact amount of time that the next year's points are good for (if you choose not to bank them). So, banked March UY '06 points would be good until 2/28/08 - but you couldn't travel on them until March '07, since you banked them. And your unbanked '07 points would also be good from 3/1/07-2/28/08. And if you wanted to travel in June '07, you could use all the points mentioned so far, and borrow your '08 points.

you can do it - however - not at one time.

you have banked and borrowed - so youhave 150 points - you make a reservation for the days you want the most.....

then in 4 months with the other resort resorts you make the other days....

say if you want July 4 - I would make sure I got July 4 and 3 (unless sat or fri) - with my 150 points....also July 5....

then the other days I would make later with my other points. at 7 months.
