His cover story, which I buy about 85% of, is that he and the other woman have recurring contests to see who gets most embarrassed by their e-mail thread. He told her what he accidentally did, which means she won that round. (Although she's probably a little embarrassed too, I'd imagine.)
Thanks, everyone, for being there for me while I quietly freaked out about this!

ksoehrlein said:My boss just sent me an e-mail that was most definitely NOT meant for me. It was a reply (in a long thread of flirtatious e-mails) to someone else with my first name. He was using a Blackberry, so I guess that's why he "replied" to me instead of her.
I'm a little creeped out. It might be relatively harmless, talk-only flirtation that could be taken way out of context -- and I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt -- but I'm a bit grossed out nonetheless. He's married with 2 kids. Don't know if I can respect him after this.
Anyway, I had to vent, but not to anyone at work!
Ever have something similar happen to you?

The fact that I then knew that my MALE boss was wearing thong undies under his business suit was enough to do me in.
