If you ever run into a problem, don't hesitate to call the 800 number listed on the vacuum. The people on the help line really are helpful! Once when the suction really decreased in my Dyson, I called it and he had me look at a couple of things, and in one place I found a whole stick ballpoint pin! One of my kids had sucked it up while vacuuming!

Once I pulled it out, it ran great as usual.
