Just booked THV

We just booked THV for 3/20/10 thru 3/27/10. We are so excited we had to let everyone know! Taking another family with us so we are happy to get a 3 bedroom for points of a 2 bedroom.

I read there will be a walkway from THV to the Grandstand bus stop.

We are in the early stages of booking the THV for next Summer, planning on bringing my brother-in-law and his family with us.. going to be great fun!!!

We'll be there for 3 nights in Jan. as part of a split stay with AKV. Looking forward to it.

I knew it would happen sooner or later... the THVs have started to take on that 'you need a golf cart' type mentality that many folk staying at Ft. W have & the place isn't even open yet.

Congratulations ! We will be there for a week starting March 12. Now we just have to choose who to invite along!

Will the transportation be perfect? Nothing ever is. We are not letting that worry us at this point. A new experience. Our DVC vacations are rarely jammed full of park days anymore anyway.

As with any new resort experience, there will be bugs to work out. Unfortunately, here on the DIS boards that often generates a great amount of negative posts...however, it ensures that everyone has lots of information to mull over before looking for reservations.

I know the negative posts regarding SSR kept me away from my home resort for a number of vacations. I won't make that mistake again. I'll listen to all posts and then try it out for myself.

Does anyone have any new interior pictures of the THV's? We have a stay schedule for Feb.13-20. and were just wondering if anyone had any real photos of the interiors not just artist renderings.

If you google Disneys Tree House Villlas under Images, there is a spot where you can see about 13 images of the inside of the THV. It starts out with a picture of the microwave oven in the kitchen. Again makes sure you google under images.

I'm hoping to book a THV for my family and my sister's family to share the second week of June 2010. This should be lots of fun! My sister will be driving her own car, and we'll rent one when we get there.
