I thought it seems like a good deal.

Two Adults
four nights - December 18-22
Boardwalk Inn - Standard view
one day base tickets
free dining
$1616

With the room only code it would be $1418. So for only $200 more we got one day tickets and dining. Without any code it would be $2064 room only. Wish we could stay longer but we have two teenagers, one home from college, that we'll be leaving home. Yikes! ;)

You mentioned having only a 1 day ticket? How will you get into the parks, if I may ask?

Free Dining is Awesome! We got an awesome deal too:

7 people (4 Disney Adults, 3 Kids)
8 nights
2 connecting rooms at All-Star Movies Preferred
8 day hoppers
free basic dining
$3,270.00

I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it!!!! 1 month, 1 week and 2 days to go and we are surprising our kids!!!1

How are you doing with dining reservations for that time? I am trying to get the fantasmic package and it is sold out around that time. I have 2 others for 6:30 so that is not too bad.

I make my resort reservations and ADRs 180 days out and added the code when it came out. I tried to get a Fastasmic Package at 180 days out and the CM told me they were sold out. You just have to call Disney Dining and say we are going to be in this park or area on this day, what do you have available? Also, you will probably have better luck getting lunch reservations than dinner. Here are our ADRs:

Dec. 14 Whispering Canyon 6:45 p.m.
Dec. 15 Candlelight Processional Package at Garden Grill 5:00 p.m.
Dec. 16 Liberty Tree Tavern 5:20 p.m. before MVMCP
Dec. 17 1900 Park Fare 6:00 p.m.
Dec. 18 Coral Reef 6:25 p.m.
Dec. 19 Hollywood & Vine 5:40 p.m.
Dec. 20 O'hana 5:30 p.m.
Dec. 21 Crystal Place Breakfast 8:10 a.m.
Dec. 21 Chef Mickey's 8:00 p.m.

Now, everybody, "It's a Small World After All . . . " lol!

I'll be the "girl" with long bond hair and have a husband, 4 kids and a mother-in-law in tow. We will probably be hard to miss! lol!

I'll be on the look out for you! I'll be the one with just a DH (no kids!) looking deliriously happy to not be having to tell the kids to stop bickering, stop whining, yes we can ride Test Track again, after we eat etc. Did I mention we'll be going without the kids?

Well, then. I guess I'll be the one who is pea-green with envy! lol! Hope ya'll have a magical vacation!

How did you just book free dining? Hasn't that been over for a while?
The bookings for the fall free dining ended in June, but in September Disney Destinations sent out some emails that offered free dining pin codes for select dates in October, November and December. These emails were random, not for the general public, and the codes were non-transferrable. Last month Disney Visa send out a free dining code for their card holders for the same select dates in October, November and December. These pin codes are not part of the Fall Dining promotion.

We have leftover hoppers from our trip in 2007. :thumbsup2

I can't believe we're doing this trip without the kids. It's going to be awesome not having to drag two teenagers out of bed every morning. We'll just be able to go when we're ready. Yay!!!!! We haven't been to Disney alone since our honeymoon 20 years ago. ;)

Just last week I was able to get ressies for where I wanted, except for Le Cellier. Not surprising, I did try but they had nothing for lunch or dinner.

Dec. 19th Chefs de France
Dec. 20th Tutto Italia
Dec. 21st San Angel Inn
Dec. 22nd Crystal Palace

A little heavy on the Epcot and the CM teased me about it, but I figured we're staying at BWI, so it would be convenient to just go to Epcot for dinner.

We're flying SW out of MHT, how about you? :) Our kids are older so they're glad we're going without them, how about yours? I told them that my neighbor across the street, who just happens to be a police officer, will be watching out to make sure they behave themselves. :thumbsup2

flying SW out of PVD...got free flights and had the park tickets from a previous trip so the only expense for this trip is the room and food:woohoo:
I am so excited to be going without the kids. No whining about boring shows, getting out of bed early etc. Can't wait to just go and do what we want, eat where we want when we want etc! Our girls are 19, 11 and 8. They are jealous we're going without them, but we just went all together for 9 days in August so I told them to get over it!

we're also eating at Tutto Italia on the 20th!! Maybe we'll see you there! What time is your ADR? Ours is at 7:00. I didn't get any Candlelight Processional packages though and I'm not sure if I should try to get one or if we'll just attempt to get a seat.

Our ressies are at 7:15. :thumbsup2 Small world. It's so nice to be able to just make ressies without having to worry about what our very fussy daughter will eat. We went to see CP back in 2004 and both our kids almost fell asleep. ;) I hadn't even thought about it for this trip.

Our son is almost 19 and our daughter is 16. I hope they don't kill each other while we're gone. :rotfl:

We were lucky to have $800 disney dollars to put towards the package so that made spending the extra dollars on BWI easier. It was very tempting though to book a value or moderate, they are such good deals.
