We're holding out a little hope for a cancellation for Cape May Character breakfast, but it's not looking good. We'll keep trying ~ our best shot may be a walk up the morning we leave. At least it's nearby (we're at YC).
Good luck with 1900 Park Fare!!
I say keep trying, you never know what will happen. I am going to for 1900 Park Fare, but I won't be too disappointed since being at CP, I will get in before park opening and be finished by park opening. We have one of the first time slots that morning, couldn't be any better than that, except maybe Park Fare
We will be at WDW from Aug 28th thru Sept. 1st to celebrate our DD 4th birthday and so I can get in 2 fantasy football drafts

We live 20 minutes west of Destin, so your tourist money will be missed

Have a great time.
Well, actually we probably wouldn't have dropped much money at Destin, mom doesn't get around too well, so we probably would have hung out at the resort and I would have been bored, so I talked her into WDW, so I can even go out and leave her without worry
We'll be at POR... I am counting down the days
Me, too, It can't get here fast enough. Although I was just there June 7-10
You're going to have the best time at POR!!! Its such a beautiful resort
I am really excited, we have visited the main area, but never stayed at a moderate before. It will also give us a chance to preview for our trip in December where I am hoping to be at POFQ, POR is my second choice.
We are staying at POR in November, can't wait!!!!
I am hoping to be at POFQ in December, just waiting for the
AAA Disney rep to let me know something, I am on pins and needles
We'll be there Sept 5th-9th. I couldn't imagine going without the dining plan. You save a small fortune!! And we booked the
free dining during that time...probably like everyone else.
It isn't very cost effective for us to do the dining plan for only a few days, especially for me and mom. We will have the big breakfast at CP or Park Fare and then mostly share our other meals. I got a better deal with the AP rate than free dining and didn't know we were going on a trip until it was too late to book.
Has anyone heard how crowds are in early September after labor day? Disney says it's a slow time, but that's never a good measure. Jan was nuts this year!!
Last year DH and I were there the weekend before and the crowds were non-existant. I know it is labor day weekend, but I expect most to be locals, because most schools will start back on Tuesday. I wouldn't worry too much. In fact our schools start back as early as Aug 2 and Aug 4th.
This is going to be a leisurely trip, so I am not going to worry. As I said in an earlier post, we hit the park early 8am this time, and will be back at the resort around lunch time, swim, explore, nap, then go back about 5 so we can last until 3 am (probably won't, but we have before)
