Just booked.. have a question..

OK.. I just booked 8 nights at the Poly with 40% code for August. I got the receipt in an e-mail and the price is different than she quoted me. Does this reflect the $200 I already paid or not? It is about $130 less than she quoted me so I'm not sure where this # came from?

Since she had me pay a $200 deposit that means I have a "package" right? I know the Poly was $204 a night. If you use a code like this doesn't that usually mean you have a "room only" ressie and have to pay for one night on your deposit?

It says I need a deposit by 3/5. Do I need to pay more than I did when I booked it by then?

Also, it says I purchased "non refundable" trip insurance?? I was never asked if I wanted it, and I certainly never said I did. What did that cost me and will I get a hassle if I want to have it taken off?

I also have a "mini golf voucher." I think we got this before.. anyway, is this only for one of us, or all 4?

I hate how things aren't broken down on the receipt, but I think I can figure most of it out..

It's so hard to tell if you got a good deal or not.

I believe it is...
room only = 1 night deposit
package = $200 deposit, if more than 45 days in advance.

Is the difference in price equal to, minus $200 paid, plus the trip insurance added in?

Disney usually automatically adds in the insurance, (seems very few ask) unless you specificly tell them not to.

I would call back immediately, and ask to have it removed.

I'm not even sure if I want it or not, but it would have been nice to have been asked.

How can I get a package if I had a room only discount code?

Could they make this any more confusing? (and I thought I was rather on top of it!)

The discount is off the price of the room, whether or not you book a package around that room.

heres what mine looked like we didn't get the insurance I will add it later if I think we need it I have till we totally pay for the trip it is $130 and after 14 days can not be cancelled our price for the 8 days water veiw mod resort with meals was $2709 (ETA thats with a 40% off code the price with out the code was $3303)
