My husband really wanted to try BWI&V.
We have been to (CR,CBR,OKW,POFQ)
But the thrift in me is cringing.

We are booked now, as of 5min ago...
1 bedroom, preferred view BWI&V for 4 nights (168pt) May 29-June 1

I was going to book OKW May 2-6 (136pts)

I had to borrow points because our UY is Sept 08 (although we like our WDW trips to be in May- I NOW understand the importance of UY month)

Weather- I hope its not too dramatic a change from early to late May

-While I am spontaneous about vacations this came about FAST. We had no plans to take a vacation 2 days ago- I think Im still digesting.

Please tell me why I'm gonna love it

(I will say I simply love the F&G Show)

It will be me and my husband and our little girl who will be 2 at the end of April

We love BWV!

There is the lively atmosphere of the ¼-mile Atlantic city Boardwalk midway (lots of activity - street performers, games, nightlife), the well-themed pool (Luna Park) with 200-ft Keister Coaster water slide, great restaurants (Flying Fish Café and Spoodles), and the location right on Crescent lake (10-minute walk to Epcot; 15-minute walk to DHS).

We'll be there at the beginning of May -- right after our cruise on the Disney Wonder.

Location, location, location. Plus the Epcot Resort area is just beautiful. We've stayed at YC three times and BWV once and will be at BWV again in June. The easy access to Epcot and Studios is a huge plus so only Mk and AK require bus transportation. We really enjoy Epcot so that area is our favorite on property.

Although the weather fluctuates a TON in Florida, I have generally seen early May to be more mild in temps (70's-80's) than late May/early June which can tip the 80's into the 90's at times. But I have seen 70 degree days in early June and 90 degree days in early May. Plus, the closer to summer, the more afternoon rain storms. This is just my own observations over the years and one cannot base a conclusion as to what this year will bring.

I know that feeling.

It may be a bit hotter than you were originally expecting but then it'll feel like Beach Boardwalk weather.

You'll be able to wander into Flower & Garden festival whenever you wish and wander out again when your DD hits her cranky afternoon 2's.

Make an early morning breakfast ressie at Cape May and your DD can hang with Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale in their swim trunks. (Minnie has the prettiest pool outfit.)

I haven't been wowwed by the carnival games on the Boardwalk but they do have several street shows that may interest you. Magicians, jugglers, etc.

And you have the ferries you can hop to MGM/DHS and elsewhere in the area. They're air conditioned so make for a nice break from the Florida sun.

I'm staying at BWV next September for Food & Wine. I'm looking forward to wandering into EPCOT for my drinking around the world day. I may try the Clam Bake at Cape May and will head to MGM/DHS for a day. My dad's looking forward to the Bakery for breakfast or coffee snacks.

Well, I am excited about the proximity- and now I can see WHY ppl take the ferries- A/C! I had no idea! I thought they were like the open kind to DTD.

Okay- Im freaking out about the concept of 90 degrees- Im just gonna pray that we dont see those temps on my trip. 90 and my DD2 wont be cute or fun and neither is Mommy. In Oct we never saw lower than 90 and she was awful- Ill hope for the best

The water slide sounds sooooo cool.

We have a preferred view- any recomendations on any further requests we should put on our ressie?
