Just back!!

We just got back from an amazing week at Ft Wilderness. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 7, 5 and 4 - the 5yo has Cerebral Palsy). We tent camped and were in loop 300. We wanted a preferred site so we could walk to the marina (only a 5-7 minute walk) plus the bus stop was very convenient. We were the only people tent camping in this loop, but that was okay. We took advantage of EE at MK and MGM, which was well worth getting up at 5:15am. At MK, we got on 9 attractions before 9:30am. And at MGM, got on TOT and RnRC twice each with no waits. We will definitely stay at FW again, hopefully next time we will have a pop-up camper. DH and I rented water mice one afternoon. What fun!! I loved the boat ride to and from MK, what a relaxing way to end the evening. We attended the campfire once. The kids loved it! The pool was very warm - bathtub warm. Spent a lot of time swimming! I loved the decorations that people had on their RVs. People really go all out!! I'm really envious of those staying for weeks or months at a time! Trails End Buffeteria was good. We tried both breakfast and dinner. Dinner was good, but breakfast was excellent!! The service is great! I've rambled on long enough. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

We missed you!

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time! It's amazing how many people come back from their first trip to FW, saying that they want to stay there all the time now! LOL!

Did you get a chance to watch the MK fireworks from the FW beach? That's one of our favorite things to do. And the Electrical Water Pageant!
