Hi
We just got back last night from our Halloween trip to DLH, castle club, overall it was brilliant as always. Here are my highs and lows.
Highs
Castle club- it was pretty special, great service, great view (although first room we were offered had a view of a bit of roof and a window - not impressed) we ended up with a balcony over fantasia gardens.
Sunday brunch at inventions - this was great, the food was lovely and the character interaction great, Lilo, stitch, mickey, Minnie, chip and Dale. Enjoyed this far more than the dinner we had there.
Mnsshp - really good character interaction and hardly any queues, dumbo was the only thing that looked a bit busy.
Thunder mountain - DS went on this for the first time, he is 4 and was desperate to go on again and again especially in the dark, nothing funnier than hearing him scream yahoo and the top of his voice.......
Cast members - didn't encounter anyone who was not really nice, it was joes first time dressing up, alien and buzz and the cast members were amazing to him.
Lows
Weather on Sunday was miserable, but I think it the park a bit quieter than it would have been.
Inventions, we did this on Sunday night and I found the character appearances really sparse, never had a problem before, sometimes you would be about 30 minutes with no character in the room, we stayed for ages as I kept Joe amused with the iPad and we only saw 5 characters and the interaction wasnt great.
Not really a low but there wasn't really as much Halloween stuff as I expected. However, what was there was really good but it would have been nice to have Halloween land where you could have queued to meet all the dressed up characters.
Will try to do a trip report, forgot to take notes though so it might not be great......
Said this was our last trip for a while but it's so addictive and now with the christmasoffer
