We spend Friday-Sunday at the Dolphin and had a great time!
Here's where we ate:
Friday morning we had breakfast at Fresh (at the Dolphin). Great place! They have made-to-order pancakes (the special that day was Cherry Chocolate!), eggs, really good sausage (I think it was rosemary & tarragon), bacon, made-to-order omelettes (I had turkey, cheese, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and green pepper), fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juices (they have all the fruit there--you just tell them what kind you want and they squeeze it for you!). It also comes with coffee or tea.
We went to Epcot on Friday, so for lunch I had a bratwurst & saurkraut (minus the bun because I'm watching my carbs) from Germany. They are always good!
For dinner we went to Boma. Wow! This place is great! Prime rib, marinated sirloin steak, baked chicken, salad with really good dressings (I loved the Cilantro Chili Vinegarette), roasted mixed vegetables, 4 different soups, mac & cheese, and a fantastic dessert selection!! I know there was more there, I just can't think of it all! It was a huge buffet!
Saturday morning we walked down to the Boardwalk Bakery, and I had a breakfast burrito. They're HUGE and filled with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese. I cut it in half, and scooped the insides out with a fork and just left the empty tortilla! (Again, cutting back my carbs) There was plenty there to fill me up, because they really stuff those things full!
We went to Magic Kingdom that day, so I had a turkey leg for a snack. Yum!! Then, we went to Pecos Bills for lunch for cheeseburgers. They have a great build-your-own burger bar filled with veggies, fried onions, sauteed mushrooms, etc.
For dinner we ate at 'Ohana - one of my favorite places!! The wontons are still my favorite part! LOL! But, the steak, turkey, pork, and shrimp are also very good. And, they just kept coming back and back and back with more and more food! I thought I would have to be rolled out of there! LOL! To drink, I had a "Backscratcher" (rum, juice and Jack Daniels - around $9). Yummy!
Sunday we went to Animal Kingdom. IMO, Animal Kingdom is the worst place for eating - especially breakfast!! We tried to find breakfast someplace, and had a really hard time! The only two places that serve breakfast are Rainforest, and Tusker House. Tusker House was only open for 1 hour (9:30-10:30) and only had one choice for breakfast: eggs, bacon or sausage, and potatoes. All pre-made and shipped in there, not fresh. So, we went back to the entrance and had breakfast at Rainforest. It was pretty good! I had steak & eggs. They are supposed to come with potatoes, so I asked for something different than potatoes and the server told me there were no other choices that were low-carb. I looked over the menu and saw that they do offer black beans with another breakfast choice, so I took them instead. Better than potatoes, anyway. DH had a breakfast pizza that was fantastic!
We headed home Sunday afternoon, so that's it! Any questions?

Yes, they offer pretty much any kind of pancake you want! Nobody in our party asked for soda, but I'm sure it would be included if you ask. They were pretty nice about everything!
