1. The rumors about the MNSSHP candy, are sadly just that. I trick or treated a bag full and never saw a giradelli chocolate or full sized candy bar in the bunch

2. CAn't report on the EMH wristband issue, they changed all the evening emh to days for our trip so we never got to see the new system. Hard ticketed events (MNSSHP and NOJ) were both wristbands but they were both before the 7th.

Feel free to ask any other questions about Port Orleans riverside, sea raycers, minigolf, NOJ, MNSSHP or whatever else and I'll try to answer.

The million dollar question....what do the new MNSSHP shirts look like & what other party merch is being offered? TIA!

That's so sad about the candy. At the party last year, on the way out, they give us a bag of Hersey Kissables!! I can't believe they didn't top your bag off. :confused3

We were just there for the 9/5 MNSSHP and the candy was lollipops, smarties, sweet tarts, bite size milkyways. Sorry I didn't see the shirts, and I know they do have other Halloween merchandise, I just can't think of much. I know they have a Halloween bag (cloth bag, I'd say about medium size- I know that doesn't help much, sorry.) I don't have many character meeting tips, as I don't think we did a good job at that, but basically the villians are in front of the castle, pooh and friends are right outside of the Pooh's playful spot in Fantasyland, and we saw the 7 dwarfs on a bench in between Fantasyland and Toontown. One thing that we would have done differently if we had known would have been to eat dinner at Cosmic Rays, if you're going to eat during the party. Try to get a table as close to the piano monster/guy as possible. They had a dance party going on with some characters- I know Stitch for sure was there. The queen of hearts is with the villians at the front of the castle, but an easier way to see her is on the alice in wonderland treat path- it's the kinda behind the scenes not often used path between toontown and tomorrowland.

Okay here's the answers all in one post:

Rora: THey would have and did a little but I had plenty, I really didn't mind :)

ARC: The Pooh characters are all up by poohs ride and the villians are all infront of the castle. We didn't do the character trails because that really isn't our bag of tea but there were plenty around that we did see. They also had a ghost hanging out by the haunted mansion for photo ops. Hope that answers your question otherwise let me know more specifics and I can try again

PDJPrinceCharming: I didn't take note of the shirts as I am a pin collector, I did see one at dinner but can't tell you much about it other than it was a black tee shirt with mostly lime green and white printing. I could be wrong but I think it was Mickey infront of the haunted mansion picture but I can't remember for sure. As for other merchandise there were 2 pins avaliable (so far) for general attendance, one additional for pass holders and a 2008 series set. The 2 pins for general attendance were about 12 dollars each, the set was 75 I don't know the passholder pin as I don't qualify. There were also various other halloween pins but not specifically MNSSHP. Sadly still no CD of the music, mostly other stuff was general halloween rather than MNSSHP

Vickie46: Love your name, that's the way my mother spells her name too :) anyways I got starbursts, mike and Ikes, sugar babys, hershy kisses, licoraice, tootsie rolls, laffy taffy, mini hershey bars... pretty much what was in past years if you have been before.

Keep on asking, I love talking about my trip!

My DD and I are leaving this sunday the 14th and we're doing our first ever MNSSHP. We would LOVE and appreciate anything you could tell us ... what to expect, what to do and what not to do..... DD is 17 so candy is a definite must but pooh isn't LOL. Thanks... feel free to send a PM as we tend to lose our posts : )

I'm curious about your statement about no cd of the music. Were you looking for music of Hallowishes and the Boo to You parade? If so, it is on a cd called Magic Kingdom Event Party Music. It is not exclusive to the party.

I am interested in info on sea racers. What's your opinion? Fun? Not fun? Can two people fit in a boat? Worth the cost?

I wasn't there for MNSSHP, but here is a picture of one of the bags they are offering at the resorts for $10 (with an additional $40 purchase):

I can confirm that the Hallowishes and Boo To You Parade mustc is on that CD. Bought it during our last trip in August. Lots of interesting and fun music on that CD.

Hi again!

Lugnut33 and hallgirl: Yeah, I was looking for the hallowishes and boo to you music Didn't see the event music but I admit I wasn't looking for it that way, thanks for the info at least now I know what to look for online (ebay maybe?)

Mom2Cookies: I'll write up something for you to read and pm you with it. One Warning though, I love to tell stories so it might be long :)

Joshsmom: Thanks for the photo. From what I saw that was one of 3 halloween totes you could get for $10 with $40 purchase. Other deals like this was a rolling duffle and a watch that I saw.

I love that bag! Gotta get one!!!

About the CD ~ I thougt last year I read they were selling MNSSHP music at the party only...but you can buy this theme music cd all the time? Can anyone tell me where to get it?

TIA!

Oh ~ to the OP ~ do they still let you in at 4pm, and do they still give out complimentary strollers?

I've been to two MNSSHP's and neither one had full sized candy bars--wonder where that rumor started? Anyway we have never left without a very full bags. By the time we got home the candy in each bag weighed between 8 and 10 lbs.--so for us nearly 40 pounds of candy. It was a great variety fo treats--fun sized brand name candy bars and other novelties like mary janes, bit o honeys, sweet tarts, smarties, root beer barrels, sweedish fish, sour patch kids, lolli poops--(variety--safty pops, tootsie pops, dumdums, traditional)--and the stuff that comes from that off brand chocolate company--like double crisp halloween novelties.

I wonder if the full sized and ghirardelli rumors have to do with trick or treating at DTD on Halloween?

Well we are leaving for POR next Friday. I have never been there. How was your stay? Any tips or recommendations? Did you go to Downtown Disney? thanks
