Just back from an adult trip to Food and Wine Festival as well as Universal. Stayed at Swan (first time) for 5 nights and HRH for 4 nights. Will be happy to answer any questions. Had a great time!

How were the crowds at Universal and Disney? What about the weather? Was there a long wait for TOT or is the second elevator now working? Any word on when BTMRR will be up?

Crowds were heavy but manageable with fast pass. TOT was a 15 minute wait with fast pass, one side still down, not sure when it will open again. BTMRR still closed until December...I think. We did miss it! Crowds at the other place, you know the one, were also heavy (some rides were 50 minutes wait). We were on site at HRH so front of the line was a huge blessing ,because ,it was hot and humid at the end of the week and Saturday. I actually felt guilty parading past the huge lines, but, I still did it. The weather at WDW for the firrst leg of the trip was great - low 80's , sunny with a few clouds, and breezy. We totally enjoyed the quiet pool at the Swan!

Yeah, that cut to the front of the line is a great perk! Thanks for the information.

How did you get from the Swan to Universal? Did you rent a car? is there a shuttle?
