Just back. Saw 1 Diser

Just got back Sunday from a weeks vacation and I only saw one Diser. She came up to me and introduced herself as Tiggerlily03. I had my lime green Dis board shirt on all day and I didn't meet Tiggerlily03 until the end of the day at Epcot. Where were you guys hiding? We must have been at different parks on different days. Oh well better luck next time.

I have my backpack decked out in lime green every trip. I have yet to see or meet another diser. On our last trip this past Oct-- I know there were at least 5 other frequent diser's who had the same arrival day as me too.

I know there were a lot of dis'ers when I was down just the first week of December but didn't see a one.

My friend stayed in the Beach Club villas and there was a sign on one of the doors near her saying HI to dis friends. But that was it.

I had my lime green mickey head on my shirt and on my back pack.. saw one dis'er in line at the Peter Pan's flight.. I think she said she was Kteacher?? anyway.. I too thought I'd see alot more !! But one day we got to the bus stop and I forgot my mickey head.. my DH said.. you better go get it, you've been looking forward to this all year!! But just then the bus came.. so I didn't have it one that day.. that's when everyone was probably there!

Oh well.. next trip, right?

Well we were at POFQ dec 6-12 and I had a lime green mickey head on my backpack. Never say one person.. we even went to MVMCP on the 9th like many other DISers and NOTHING. I did see someone from Baton Rouge with an LSU t shirt. I thought she might be from the DIS but I was not sure!

I was down there December 3rd through the 11th and also had a lime green Mickey head on my backpack. I met two DISers (txSleepingBeauty, and BunnyMK). They introduced themselves to me.

I thought will all the DISers down at WDW I would see a bunch more. Next time!!!

I only met MansionFan and (IIRC) Pooh11Mom... and I'm carrying my backpack with Lime-green Mickey-head all the time.

I was sure looking, but only saw a few DISers. My sister spotted Pirates of the Carolinas at the FOTLK show. I ran into, oh, darn, what was her name...at Epcot, but she was with BaciBecky, who I was going to try and and spot when we got to Pop Century (where she was staying, also). I also saw a DISer get off the boat at WL when we were getting on, but no time to introduce myself (her DIS nametag said Beth).

There were a few others that I was hoping to spot (Bavaria, sometime we will meet), but at least I did get to meet BaciBecky, who I was on the lookout for.

I was able to meet up with a lot of DISers. You might try posting on the meet forum or looking there for when you will be down. I found I could hook up that way with quite a few folks I had never met before. It was a great experience for me.

kupperman had her lime green DIS shirt on at EPCOT and that certainly worked for my DH. He spotted her right off.

It was fun to run into another DISer without it being a planned event.
Keep trying and keep looking it does pay off on occasion.

I was at WDW 12-4 through 12-11 and met three DISers: towncrier, katyintx (I think that was her screen name... she was with towncrier) and akasleepingbeauty. Akasleepingbeauty was so nice! WE had a nice long conversation while waiting to be seated at Boma. It was neat to see some of the people that go with the names!

not really running into someone from DIS but when we went on our 2nd trip we bumped into one of my sisters dinnerladies from school we also found out she was on the same plane as us
