All in all I had a great time this past week. Even managed to get some pins that I had been looking for. Majority of the cast members were warm and willing to trade. Did have a couple that need to work on their trading abilities, even had one worker take his lanyard off and put it in the drawer so no one else could interupt his work to see his lanyard. Did have one tell me that I had a lanyard of non traders, at that moment all I had left was a few disney store and pins from cheap pins.com, if I would have not been in a hurry I would have asked to speak to her supervisor for a better clarification. I was led to beleive that if the pin had disney trademark on the back that it was tradeable. I had no trouble trading with any other cast members though. I did have a few that didn't like to exchange for pins from cheappins.com and examined each pin carefully. Will try to update my pinpics soon, do have a few lanyard pins to trade.

Could you tell me which park you were in when you had trouble with some of the CMs? Or was it spread out? Did one park seem more "trade friendly" than the others?

Thanks! :)
Julie

When I was there the last weeked in august, I saw a few fantasy pins on lanyards that had "cheappins.com" on bottem. So perhaps CM's trying to be more careful. The one CM i spoke to had no idea it was a fantasy pin till I pointed it out. She removed it from her lanyard and thanked me. She said she had gotten it from a child.

Blessings,
Winnie

On freindliness it was hit and miss majority of the time everyone was friendly. The shops on main street has more cast members with lanyards than anyone other spot. The most rude person I met was in the back mens wear section on main street. Some times it seemed like they didn't think of the person's postion when they hand out lanyards. I seen a operator on one of the rides have one, with no way of getting to her to do any trading. When I spotted it we were in the car and started on the ride. She was not visable at anyother point. And no way to get to her either.
