It was a wonderful, albeit chilly, trip. We arrived the morning of Jan 19 to 70 degree weather. By Sunday the high dropped to the 50's and windy. I ended up buying a knit cap to keep my poor ears warm! It warmed up into the 60's by Tuesday afternoon, but I never wore shorts nor did we use the pool. We flew home on the 26th.

We stayed at the WL, which was fabulous as always. I got towel animals 4 of the 7 days! Had a woods view room, directly above the WCC, with a good view of Wishes.

The parks were deserted. We walked on almost everything and never used fastpass. The longest wait was probably 10 minutes for Stitch, which isn't much different than the old AE. Kind of lame.

We didn't use EMH as we like to take our time in the mornings, and by the time the parks "closed" we were either cold, tired, or had done everything because of no lines.

Transportation was fine for the most part. The only glitch was the MK boat not running in the fog. We waited on the dock for about 30 minutes with about 50 other people before someone called and got the scoop. Posting a sign or a CM on the dock would have been nice.

We ate table service at Le Cellier, Chefs De France, Boma, O'hana, Kona Cafe, Ft. Wilderness campground restaurant. Counter service at Cosmic Rays (2x), the bakery on Main St at MK, bakery in France, ABC Commissary, WL food court.

Any questions?

Sounds like you had a great time and good to seee you again. :wave2:

How did you like Boma? We want to try it in June.

Any questions?

We are staying the 1st 3 nights at VWL in a studio and have heard the food at Trails End very good and reasonable - true?
Also have eaten at Le Cel, Chefs, Boma & enjoyed! Did you do lunch or dinner at O'hana & Kona? Any comments on them?
How was Cosmic Rays...we are 50's adults and heard it can get loud. Thanks.

BOMA is great! :cool1:

There is plenty of different choices that everyone should find something to eat. The soups are fantastic ( I'm the one with the plate and 3 bowls on it), lot's of different salads and sides, and the meats and fish, well ..... UUUUMMMMMM.

Then there are Zebra Domes.

How was LeCellier? Is there a dress code at all or can you wear park clothes. We have PS's in April and I can't wait. What were your pros and cons of this restaurant.

Glad you had a great trip!

I don't know of any restaurants in the parks that enforce a dress code. They understand that people are IN THE PARKS and it's tough to dress-up for that! And, since Le Cell is rather dark inside, kind of cave-like, no one really notices your clothes cause they can't see them! :rotfl2:

They have great servers (at least all the times we were there). The food is good to great with steaks and cheese soup being their specialty. I think you will enjoy it here.
