Just back-low crowds, then no crowds-any other questions?

Just back last night! Had a great time. We were there 8/20-8/27 (Wed to Wed).When we first got there it seemed a little crowded,but not as crowded as I expected. By the time Sun came the crowds seemed to disappear!We were walking right onto rides. On Monday we slept in a little so we didn't get to MK until close to 10 o'clock and we had all of Fantasyland ,Splash Mountain, Hall of Presidents, and and POC done by noon & we were off to Epcot where again we walked on everything (except Test Track because it was closed for technical difficulties). Sorry can't comment on Mission Space wait times cuz my DD & DS didn't want to do. Any questions? For all of you headed to the World have a great time & don't forget those ponchos! There were a couple of days it rained so hard I expected to meet Noah building the Ark! Looking forward to going back! TTFN

Glad the crowds tappered off for you, we left on 8/20 and still seemed crowded.

I may just be spoiled since I usually go in the off-season, but I was there Aug. 21-25 and thought the crowds were pretty bad (at some points I thought it was nearly as bad as Christmas week). I had really expected low crowds since most people were already back in school or just about to go back, but I was shocked at how many people were there. I got most everything done without waiting since I started early each day, but in the afternoons I had to get the heck out of the parks and just hang out by the pool (and then take a nap in the room when the storms started every day).

Oh, and I know why MK and Epcot weren't crowded on Monday -- BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD (along with foolish me) WAS AT ANIMAL KINGDOM!!!

We were at all star movies from 8/13 to 8/22, we go every summer. This was the MOST CROWDED time we have ever had. I think the FTP did it. It was packed everywhere. We usually go the last week of Aug into Sept but we could not this year. We also had MASSIVE rain,thunder and lighting like i have never seen just about every day. It was still warm . We only got to stay at typhon lagoon last wed from 10ish to 230ish cause the worst storm rolled in. I kinda felt like it was a waste of a day. But ,you never know i guess. We still had a great time.
