Just back from our trip-- we rented with Hertz for the first time and were very pleased. Arrived on Thursday and got our luggage in record time and went to the Hertz bus .. made one stop at the other terminal and were on our way to the car within 10 minutes. We had gold service so we walked right to our car and left. Even without gold level, it looked like there was not a long line. Return was simple and quick as well. Dropped off the car, walked to the bus and immediately left for the terminal -- it's only about a 5 minute ride. We will definitely go with Hertz again.
MCO did not seem as crowded as in the past, but we left on a 9 a.m. flight and checked in around 7 a.m. After we gave our bags to the TSA folks, we asked if there was any way they could lock them for us after they had been screened. They were very nice and told us to where to wait. After the bags were screened we handed the keys to them and they locked them for us. Everyone was very helpful. Lines to go through security were not bad at all -- probably took 10 minutes at the most.
