I figured it would be really crowded at Disney World this weekend and I had made ADR's (Liberty Tree Tavern for MVMCP Friday, and Le Cellier for lunch on Sunday), and figured we'd do counter service the other meals. Well, we walked into Sci-Fi diner at lunch on Saturday and immediately got seated in a car. 
Then, Saturday night, we walked into Kona at the Poly and waited about 10 minutes for dinner, which was fabulous. When we went to Le Cellier for lunch on Sunday, they were accepting walk-ins, too! I was really surprised at all of these walk-in opportunities. The food everywhere was fabulous, as was the service. Now, there were only two of us (DH and me,) and when we went to Kona, it was after 9 p.m., so I imagine that families with small children had mostly eaten earlier, but still -- this was Christmas weekend, so I was just amazed. Anyway, I thought I'd let people know that it never hurts to ask if there's availability. You might be pleasantly surprised, too!
