[Neapolitan Ice Cream]

A while ago I generated about 10 music tracks using AI - mostly rock, a few trance/easy listening ones. I did very little work, only inputted various parameters and came out with complete tracks that are exclusive to me. You can tell they're AI generated if you know what to listen for, but it's a hard distinction to make. And heck, they sound pretty darn good too!

Don't get me wrong, AI cannot even cast a shadow on REAL artists. But for a computer the tracks are pretty good!

Of late when using my AI platform, I was using the free version so all my tracks were highly compressed MP3s. The treble was tinny, the bass lacklustre, it just sounded awful. So I spent $8 (best $8 ever) and now I can export all my old files and new ones in uncompressed WAV files. Much better!

On the same note of AI music… the concern over this new technology has led to big radio giant iHeartMedia to launch a new slogan of “guaranteed human” (radio is as big of a momentum shifter for music in general). Stations owned by iHeart have started gracing this messaging at the top of every hour.
