Just back from a 5 night "wonderful" stay. Newly remodeled rooms were great. The concierge lounge was usually busy but we enjoyed it. My room request didn't work out, but I know they don't always. Having transportation so close by is one reason we stayed there and I am so glad we did.

Any questions?

so glad you had a good time! what were your room requests? were the new headboards w/the light fixtures in yet? was there enough room to eat a meal in your room w/o a table? TIA

The headboards in our room were basically 3 "logs"; 2 coming straight up as posts and then one on the top (horizontal).

We requested a room as close to the lounge as possible (so I would feel comfortable about letting my 12 yr old go to the lounge on his own if he wanted a soda, snack, etc.), and also asked if we could be on the 1st or 3rd floor. I told them I know requests are difficult, but whatever they could do would be great. We were put on the 2nd floor, 2nd from the last room away from the lounge. I didn't even ask to be moved because I didn't want to start our stay w/dissapointment. We had a wonderful view from our room.

Welcome back! Sorry you weren't able to get your requests met, but I'm glad you were able to still enjoy what you did get!

Sorry, forgot about the table question.......

I think it would be hard to eat a full meal without a table. We actually could have done w/o the lounge chair/ottoman (sp?). Just used it to pile our backpacks/stuff on. The daybed was great and my DD thought it very comfortable. I have always had a problem with the low lighting in the bathrooms there....just hard to see what you are doing.

Sorry, I'm not big on taking pictures of the resorts! :(

I'm sure Tikiman's website has the best up-to-date pictures available of the remodels......just search the threads for his website......unless someone else knows it offhand.

The new widescreen tv's are great!! We watched our new "Revenge of the Sith" widescreen DVD in the room the first night...it was awesome!

We also liked the 2 "closets" on either side of the little fridge too...very spacious.
