Hi. We just got back on the 13th from 7 nights at WDW! Wow was it HOT, WET, and CROWDED
This was our first and last June trip!
We stayed 5 nights at the Poly GVC. Very, very nice hotel. Wonderful pool, especially if you have children that don't swim. The zero entry is fabulouse. I didn't like the water slide - too dark and fast for me... But my DH loved it. The poly's location can't be beat. All the transportation was great. Never a long wait for monorail, bus, or boat. The views were wonderful. We loved the Poly but probably won't stay conceirge again. I can't really see spending all that extra money again. But this was a special trip for my DH. The concierge lounge was very nice. We would sit there and eat breakfast or sip a glass of wine and look out at the lake and castle! awsome view from the loung. The poly is very relaxing and beautiful. I would highly recommond it.
We stayed two nights at the Dolphin as a last minute add on to our trip. We got the government rate of $149 / night. What a deal. This was also a wonderful hotel. The location, although very different from the Poly, was just as great! Their pool was wonderful, though not zero entry and their water slide was a little calmer for me! We will probably stay here again. It's a great place for kids. The room was a good size but we really missed the balcony.
I'll post later about our dining experiences. It was a very nice trip even with the heat and crowds. We didn't get to see and do as much as we would have liked but... there's is always next year!!
