Just back from Poly 12/2-12/7

It was the most wonderful vacation I have ever had. I was only at the Poly because of the CBR switch and I must say it was a wonderful business move by Disney because I will never be able to stay at a Value or Moderate again!

Anyway, we stayed on the first floor of Aotearoa, 1210-1211. We had a garden view with the monorail outside of our patio. I was worried about the patio because my family loves balconies but the patio was great, very private and beautiful. The rooms were emaculate and more than enough room for our family of 5. The beach was beautiful, the whole resort was beautiful. The service was amazing, always friendly. We ate at Kona for breakfast and O'hana for the character breakfast, both were excellent.

The Poly was just so wonderful, there were days I couldn't wait to get back to the resort. We will definately plan more days next time to stay at the resort all day to enjoy everything there. I actually shed a few tears when we left. I took 2 rolls of film just at the Poly and will upload them when I get them developed.

Thanks for the report. I am getting so excited. We are planning to arrive on Jan 16 at the Poly for 8 nights (at least). I am hoping to add one more night at the end but right now I can't get the same GV concierge room. Anyway, I digress...... Hearing people saying what a great time they had is making me even more anxious to go.

Okay....now I'm getting excited!!! This will be my first stay at the Poly and I can't wait!! I have a garden view room booked....I am considering upgrading to concierge when we arrive, if its available! We arrive on the 15 of January for 7 nights then off to Universal at the Royal Pacific for 2 nights! It won't be long!!!

Thanks for the great report! When I saw the sad face I was worried you'd had a bad stay, and when I read the report I realized you were sad to be home! We're planning on staying at the Poly our next trip, so I love reading good Polynesian reports!
