We just got back on Monday and are definitely sad to be gone!! We had a wonderful time and loved Port Orleans. We came from 80 degree weather to about 8 degrees, so it was really a shock!!

Any questions??

Congrats to you and your new hubby!!

We'll be at POR in 30 days (yea). Which building did you stay in? Were you happy with that or would you recommend another? Really ANY info/insights you can give me would be wonderful!!

Congratulations and welcome back!

We stayed in Acadian House... room number 8211. I'd actually say it was the perfect location for us. We didn't want to spend much time at the resort, so we enjoyed being a bit away from the Main Building (although not too far, the other mansions were further away) and really close to the North Depot bus stop. We had a king size bed and requested a view of the river, but ended up with a view of the fountain, which we were still totally happy with. I would definitely recommend Acadian House or whatever Alligator Bayou building is right next it (not sure of the number)!!

We stayed at POR several years ago, and just loved it. It is such a pretty resort!! Did you catch a performance of Piano Bob while you were there?? He is such a hoot!!

Congratulations on your marriage!

I was just wondering what you thought about your room's condition and the overall condition of the resort?

Have a good day.

We weren't able to catch Bob's show this trip. We saw him once as we passed by, but were too tired to stop and then the days we wanted to stop where the days he was off. Go figure!! I'll just use it as an excuse to plan another trip though. :D

I thought the rooms were in very good condition. People mentioned before that furniture looked knicked and the rooms needed paint, but I didn't notice anything like that. I did notice one spot on teh tub where the porcelain had chipped away, but it just reminded me of home since my tub looks like that. Everything seemed to be in great condition everywhere else though!

Congratulations
