Before, After, and In Between work hours here are a few things that I did last week on my solo trip:

:cool1: I rode in the front car of Goofy's Barnstormer with Goofy.
:sunny: I met Scoop Sanderson and he gave me a new Mickey Pin for my collection.
 I rode Expedition Everest 10 times in a row!!!
:cheer2: I was interviewed by Radio Disney after the 8th time on EE!
:woohoo: I got into the Hotseat at Who Wants to be a Millionaire!
(only got to the 2000 point level before I blew it - boy was I nervous!!)
:sunny: I watched Wishes from right in front of the castle
:hyper: I picked a pearl in Japan
:) I watched the Candy Lady in Japan, she was awesome!
:thumbsup2 I stayed for the Goodnight Kiss one night at MK
:Pinkbounc I kidnapped Mickey (ok, really I bought a Big Figure of Mickey, He's so cute!)
:goodvibes I made a robot in Innoventions
:teeth: I had my picture made with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald!
:) I ate at Le Cellier all by myself and it was yummy!

Anyway, just thought I would let you all know that even with limited time in the parks, There was just as much MAGIC as always!

I will say that if you ever have to sit through meetings or conference proceedings in Orlando you will find that it is 10 times more excrutiating than if you were attending meetings at home. It's so hard to sit and listen when you know you are soooooo close to the magic! But, I had a great time during all of my free time so, I'm glad that I went!

I got sent to Orlando for work once, too. You are so right about sitting there being bored off your buttinski and knowing you could be walking down Main Street!!!!!

I rode the Haunted Mansion 3x in a row with noone there to stop me, or say, "God, I hate that! It's so lame!" :teeth:

The freedom when you are alone, that feeling of being able to do WHATEVER YOU WANT, is almost surreal. Talk about a kid (at heart) in a candy shop!

Glad you had a great time!
:goodvibes

DH is the one who has to sit through the boring lectures I get to go out and explore on my own :Pinkbounc He couldn't believe that I could have fun by myself....are you kidding me. I can go do what I want to for once.

Glad you managed to squeeze in some fun. DH already got an e-mail from his instructor warning him how grueling it is going to be. Nothing like a warm welcome :)

Ok I have a question for you. How did you get to ride EE 10 times is a row?!? That is really cool, but I don't know if I could handle that. There is a ride up here in NJ at Six Flags called Nitro- I once rode it 3 times in a row and I thought my head was going to explode!! But maybe EE is different.

WOW!! I think I want to go solo too, you sound like you have a better time that way! :thumbsup2

I've never done WWTBAM solo because if I make the hot seat and they ask "Who are you here with", I wouldn't know how to answer. Did they ask you? What did they say? How did the announcer react?

While you only gave us a glimpse of your trip... I am green with envy!

Well, for Expedition Everest, I used the single rider line! I had only about a 5 minute wait each time! It is such a smooth ride no matter where you ride! I didn't feel sick at all. In fact, I finally had to make my self stop so that I could go do other things! It's a great ride and I think the Imagineers really outdid themselves this time! I think this one is giong to be tough to beat!

For Millionaire, I was scared to death! Every trip in the past I have had a 2 year old hanging off of me and I always managed to make it into the top 10 on the board but, never in the Hotseat! I told DH that if I could try it without DS that I really thought I could make it! So one night after work I went to MGM and headed straight to Millionaire. They had two shows left for the night. I sat through the first one and I got on the board twice (3rd and then 1st) but, I never got into the hotseat. Once the show was over I walked out and around and back in. The next show started and I was the first one in the hotseat with the fastest finger question!

The host asked who I had with me and I told her it was just Mickey and Me (I had Pal Mickey with me). It was Valentines Day and I had to explain why I was in Disney alone! I was soooooooo nervous and just knew that I was going to do something stupid. Sure enough, I did great until the 2000 point question and I didn't know the answer, I used one lifeline and then just guessed and got the question wrong. I was so proud of finally getting in the Hotseat but, I beat myself up the rest of the night for making such a dumb mistake. But, in the first game that I went to, a guy missed the 100 point question so I guess it could be worse! I won a lanyard, 5 pins, and a hat! I have to wait 30 days before I can play again!

It's kind of funny because I had called DH right before I went in and told him that I was going into Millionaire to win us a Cruise. I called him afterwards and said, "Well, I didn't win the cruise..." He couldn't believe that I actually made it into the Hotseat!

I had a great time but, I did miss the rest of the family. DH and DD decided that we just have to go back before this summer, so I'm going to call DVC member services tomorrow and make a reservation for weekend after next! Everyone thinks we are nuts for going back so much but, we just can't get enough!

That's a great idea to use the single rider line! I'll have to do that when I go down. :thumbsup2
